Anyway, last night I had a dream that I was fired from my job.
To dream that you are fired from your job indicates that you are wanting to end some relationship or situation in your waking life. It also suggests that you are repressing what you really desire most. The person who got me fired was an old friend.
To see friends in your dream signifies aspects of your personality that you have rejected, but are ready to incorporate and acknowledge these rejected aspects of yourself. The relationships you have with those around you are important in learning about yourself. There was something about email, can't remember what, but there were a lot of emails there.
To dream about email indicates that you need to reach out to people who may not necessarily always physically be around. It could also very well mean that you have been spending too much time in front of the computer and this has carried over into your dreams.Okay, either of those can be true. I'll admit, my computer is always on.
All of this took place in my parent's old home. I've never had dreams in my parents old home until recently. My sister however has apparently had a lot of dreams in the old house.
...to see your childhood home, your hometown, or a home that you previously lived in, indicates your own desires for building a family. It also reflects aspects of yourself that were prominent or developed during the time you lived in that home. You may experience some feelings or unfinished expression of emotions that are now being triggered by a waking situation. Not only was it in my parents old house, but it was all in the laundry room. I couldn't find a meaning for just a laundry room (it was all about doing laundry, sorting laundry, etc. And the laundry was just sort of there, so I looked up Laundromat instead).
To dream that you are at a laundromat represents a transformation or cleansing. You are ready to rid yourself of past hurts and looking forward to new changes.
